LibQUAL+ Library Assessment Survey

Survey Running April 22, 2015 - May 13, 2015

LibQUAL

What is the LibQUAL+ survey asking me for? The survey is asking for your:

  • Minimum level of service - What level of service you are willing to put up with.
  • Desired level of service - What level of service you want from the FLCC Library.
  • Perceived level of service - What service level you are getting from the Library.

What is the LibQUAL+ survey? LibQUAL+ is a web based survey designed to measure the quality of library services based on the perceptions of our library patrons.   From April 20th - May 8th, the FLCC Charles J. Meder Library will be running the LibQUAL+ survey to determine how the college community feels about the quality of the resources and services we offer. We need your feedback and welcome your comments and suggestions!

Why is the LibQUAL+ survey needed? By responding to the survey, you will provide essential assessment information for us to use in planning for the future. This survey, administered by the Association of Research Libraries, is important because it will:

  • Help us better understand how the FLCC community rates library services
  • Allow us to benchmark our results against other libraries to determine best practices
  • Let us know where we can concentrate service improvements for users

How does the LibQUAL+ survey work ? The online survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and will ask a series of questions about your perceptions of the FLCC Library. The survey will be live from April 22, 2015 - May 13, 2015. In addition to the online survey, print copies of the survey will be available at the circulation desk.

COMPLETE THE SURVEY BEFORE MAY 13th and if you choose, you may enter a drawing that includes an iPad Mini, GoPro and gift certificates to the FLCC College Bookstore.
